Subject: Visiting
My wife lives in Canada and I just got back from visiting her. I´m wondering how soon can I go back to Canada to visit?

You can go back anytime you want, BUT, you cannot stay longer than 6 months at a time, unless, Canadian Immigration stamps your passport with a specific date when you arrive in Canada. You can apply for an extension 30 days before you are suppose to leave Canada if you needed to stay longer than the date specified in your passport. If nothing was ever stamped in your passort, than it is 6 months maximum.

Are you applying for Permanent Residency?

Thanks so much for replying. I will be applying for PR. My wife will sponsor me. Does that give me more time to stay?
