I am writing to enquire something regarding to my VISA. I am from China and I got an offer from a university in Canada. I got the VISA on September 26, 2008. The deadline for registration is September 19, 2008 and the faculty decided to defer my admission to September 2009. If I planning to go to Canada on October 4, 2008, I am wondering if I can enter Canada and get study permit when I show the offer letter for September 2008 to the immigration officer. If it doesn??t work, how about the offer letter for September 2009 (already have) and Winter 2009 (planning to request from university).

What do you plan to do in Canada (if admitted) from Oct 2008 to Sep 2009?

I am planning to take and audit some language courses. Also, My husband works and lives in Canada for four years. But there are some problem with my P.R. application. so I am applying for study permit.
