  Well my Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants (CSIC) dues for 2009 are set at $3,343.20 above and beyond that are the following costs;

Any advertising costs normally $12,000.00 annually.
Office Rental in the GTA $24,000.00 annually.
Required Educational courses $2,000.00 annually.
Office expenses $15,000.00 annually.

So the average cost for an authorized representative in the GTA is about $60,000.00 per year. Boo hoo!

The Standing Committee of CIC claimed CSIC and they should do something about unauthorized representatives and that the legislation should be changed.

Currently CSIC has no authority to discipline unauthorized representatives for recommending certain applications or running an Immigration Business including advertising that business in area papers in Canada and abroad.

Who ever you hire, understand that only an authorized representative can appear before an Immigration Officer, the IRB, the IAD, the ID or a CBSA Officer to correct or explain an issue with your file.

Always, always get references no matter what!

Now I got to go wipe my tears, away! Morning all.

LOL Bill the dues went up 50% and CSIC is so helpful when it comes to promoting my business.

Hey I won a case that I was refused a deferral of removal when my client had only one more week to be assessed as an InLand Spousal. Got her a ARC.

She had to leave with her two Canadian kids in April and now she is coming back. It took four months to get a former divorce certificate.

Now count the cost of a flight for four -- Husband, Two Kids and wife to China including getting visitor visas for the husband and kids. Then return flight.

This I will tell the CBSA officer and Sharon´s great family man, friend from Calgary to suck it up!

Going to watch the debate tonight, bye.

See guys what I mean, Roy is the talker if anyone complains about this according to Roy that person is an consultant who is jealous of his business, if you were that much successful in your business Roy, you would not be here 24/7 ...Do you think those people are really interested in such a thing? This man has no life just advertising himself here talking about this and that or showing how much he knows in his field ( he might know a lot though) ....Just a loser like many of those people in Canada, over 50, lonely, goes to bed alone, sleeps with his laptop, and talks about everything because internet is his best friend, ...and those other lonely people join him here....he is the only one here who gives his website at the end of his messages...wishing to catch an idiot to call him and pay him ...Roy do you know the common thing about among those internet addicts? No social life, having noone to share his bed, no kids, simply having noone at home to talk to ....
