It might be in your record sent to immigration but it will not be the factor for rejection of your application. I read somewhere the similar question and everybody said not to worry. So, do not worry.

Hi
My husband Robert(British Citizen) got a fine for a DUI in 2003. He was deported from Canada in August 2003. I´m a Canadian citizen and am currently living in the UK with my husband. We want to return to Canada for a visit in July 2005. Do you think this will be possible? Do you know what steps we need to take? I don´t think this was the reason he got deported...he was just unlucky and this was used against him. Please help. We only want to go for one week!
Cheers

Visiting Canada (in reply to: Immigration to Canada with a misdemeanor DUI)
I recently visited my girlfriends parents in BC. After a 20 hour drive from California we stoped at the boarder only to find that my Mis. Dui from 2004 restricted me from entry. I was eventually let in because it states on my record that I was charged and not yet convincted. I was told to check into a defered sentence and if that was on my record I could be let in. I am trying to plan a trip back there to talk to her father about marrying his daughter and I dont know how or what I should do to insure me getting into the country. So any help or advice would be greatly appriciated.
