Subject: Husband in Kosovo
I was recently married in Kosovo to my husband. We are not beginning the immigration process and if someone could just help me out by letting me know what to do and how we could process this as fast as possible that would be great. We decided to go without a lawyer but I´m confused about how things work and who sends what where.
Thank you so much,
Jacqueline

The information I posted before, is to sponsor your spouse if any of you is Canadian Citizen or Canadian permanent resident.

Yes I am a Canadian born citizen. I was wondering two things. Does he send all his information to me and then I send my application to sponsor and all his forms together or is it done another way? IE I send in application for sponsor and then he sends his documents to another office in europe.

Yes, he should send all his information to you (signed forms, proofs of relationship) and then, you send the application to sponsor to Mississauga (all documents, proof of relationship, photos, etc.) together.

Since you decided to go without a lawyer, you have to read, read and read again the guides in order to understand the process. It´s not difficult. Everything is there.
