Hi
I´m from India. My wife applied for my sponsorship in April 2008 who is immigrant of Canada. Today I received a letter from New Delhi visa office for my interview and a possible phone interview of my wife. My wife is now in India and will accompany with me during interview. We had submitted all the documents concerning our case and relationship so now what should we do to prepare for interview? Our marriage case is simple and straightforward and there is similar qualities in respect of age, education, family and caste. My other family members have been alredy residing in Canada for a long time.
Secondly I would like to say that I opted in my application my regional language for interview and the interpretation service of which is provided by the New Delhi visa office at a cost mentioned in the letter. So I wish to know how I will contact the interpreter for my interview.
Thanks.
sincerely
Harry.

(in reply to: Interview in the case of Spousal Sponsorship) Should I use CAIPS to know the reasons for my interview?
Harry.

(in reply to: Interview in the case of Spousal Sponsorship) Yes... However it takes about 4 weeks or so for them to be delivered. You will want to make sure you order them early enough to have them before your interview. This is the best way to figure out why it is that the IO wants an interview. i.e. they believe the relationship is not genuine, or what they have concerns about.
