Subject: Dual application- Federal scheme and Quebec scheme
  Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could advise:
(1) I put in an application for PR under the Federal scheme 2 years ago and only realized this year that I´m qualified under the Quebec scheme. I´ve applied for and received my QSC and am about to apply to the feds for my PR. (I indicated somewhere on the form that I´ve previously applied under the feds scheme and the apps is currently awaiting a decision)- do you think my previous application would jeopardize the recent one?

(2) Do the new rules (effective from February 2008) affect applications made through the Quebec scheme- I suppose not as they should be covered just like the provincial nominee apps!

Thanks

why don´t you simply send your QSC as an attachment to your current FSW application?

Thanks for your prompt response Sharon. Please two more questions:

(1) Is the Quebec immigration affected by the new rules?

(2) Will attaching my QSC to the FSW make them expedite action faster on the FSW which has been pending since November 2006?

Do you think I´ll be penalised for making a dual application- I actually want to cancel the FSW apps but don´t want to regret doing that as I´m not sure if the new rules will affect the Quebec one- I prefer to stay in Quebec.

Thanks

comun sense charo chaplinnnnnnnnn
csq= already selected you need to send the federal package with pc and after medical and after PR

fsw in process = not even pass the selection
asking for csq = intention to reside in quebec
fsw=intention to reside everywhere eles but quebec

on the roulette if you bet 100$ on black and 100$ on red
you gonna win but never make profit until you get the (0) and you will loose everithing
the immigration syteme is not a roulette its serious
advise: cancel one of them and start with the other
bonne chance ,

Thanks Anonymous. But, please what´s ´pc´?- you said, "send the federal package with pc and after medical and after PR "

(2) Do you know if the new rules (effective from feb 2008) apply to Quebec nominees who have yet to submit their app for PR? I understand provincial nominees are exempt- but Quebec runs a seperate scheme from the federal and provincial.

Many thanks

pc=police certificate
i doesn t matters if there s a new rulessss, you already have the csq ,the new rules or old rules are behind youuuuuuuu

you have only the security and medical check left.the new rules apply on the selection process ,that you already passed in having the csq, the new rules may affect your fsw but not
the quebec process,
