Subject: Family Class Immigration
Hi, I am PR here, and I want to immigrate the rest of my family to Canada. I know I can have them immigrated as Senior dependents, but my sister who is 30 would also like to come here. Is there any sponsorship I can offer her?

Also, my sister is going through divorce. Being Indian citizens, there is no official classification as seperated. Shall we wait for her divorce papers to clear before we submit the paper work for her?

Thanks

I am sorry, your sister does not qualify under family class sponsorship.

If you live in Alberta or Manitoba, you may sponsor your sister under family class:

Other provinces may have similar streams, check with your province.

I believe those are the only 2 provinces and I am unclear what the requirements might be.

the entire application goes to Missisauga. Once the Canadian is approved as a sponsor, the file goes to the embassy of the spouse. 2 phase process.

Myrna,

Your spouse should submit the entire application in Mississauga. Be sure to include lots of evidence to prove your relationship and marriage is genuine and continuing para mas maganda ang chances ninyo to get your PR...

Good luck!

no, sorry. Parents, grandparents - not siblings unless they are under 22 and orphaned. Your sister can come on her own merits and claim you for adaptation points (5)
