I am a PR in Canada, but have been working outside Canada for more than 3 yrs and haven´t visited Canada in over 3 years now. Have I lost my PR status automatically by staying out of Canada for over 3 yrs? What will happen if I try to return to Canada using PR card? please advise. Who do I need to contact before returning to Canada?

(in reply to: PR but away for > 3 years) Unless you didn´t work for any Canadian company or accompany your Canadian spouse then your status is lost.
If you are lucky then you may enter into Canada with a valid PR card. Immigration will ask how long you were out of Canada...More than 3 yeras..Then they may let you in and you have to apply for humanitarian ground to revoke your PR status.
