| Subject: Illegal status rectification |

Hi
I would like someone advice of how I can correct my status in Canada, I´m here since few years, but I didn´t found a solution to solve this problem, I came here with a Temporary visitor visa, that I have renewed but at a certain moment the renewal have been refused.
I have no legal problem, I´m very simple person, hardworking (I work via internet in computer graphics), I´m really tired of this situation, It made me sick, but I survive with situation just to support my mother in my country, sometimes I´m thinking to return to my home-country but after theses years it´s difficult for me to comeback without fixing this situation, as I will have no options for the future ... I got suggestion that marriage is the best solution, but I don´t like this option for me marriage is one of the few holly things in my life, and If I have found the right person to marry with and have a family it will be great otherwise just for paper sincerely It will be difficult decision to make.
I would like to ask if a Lawyer can help me really, and how much approximately this will cost, and any advice will be welcome.

In the Bible it says the Lord helps those who help themselves. By posting your question to so many is the best way to help yourself.
Always tell the truth because then you don´t need to remember what you said, you already know it!
Try obtaining a PNP certificate while here or a LMO and then submit outside of Canada for Permanent Residency or Temporary Residence.

You can apply for RESTORATION OF STATUS. Look for the right form on the CIC website and pay the fees.

If you came here on a visitor permit, how on earth did you ever get a job? Given that you aren´t legal, I don´t imagine you are paying taxes either....
I appreciate that you want to resolve your ´illegality´, but right now you aren´t suppose to be here. Why are you not returning home and applying for a Skilled Worker? Everyone who wishes to come to Canada goes through this process... So should you.

Hi All, and thank you very much for reply.
@Roy: thank you for the advices, believe me I´m a very rightful kind of person, and even if I´m not a "believer" but I´m a very honest person and trustworthy, I tell always the truth and nothing than the truth, I tried to help myself and I avoided to resolve my situation by doing some things that anyone in my place will do them ... I will do some research about the PNP certificate and how to obtain it, also the LMO ( I don´t really understand what they mean), thank you very much for the advices.
@Liza: I tried two years ago to resolve this but due to lack of knowledge I didn´t know how to do this procedure, I requested the forms from Immigration services, filled them and sent them but I didn´t got a reply, and in my situation I´m afraid that if I make another request this way I will face two situation, acceptation (less probable) or expulsion (something that I don´t like it to happen)
@Carrie: First of all, when I came here I wasn´t looking for a job but I contacted the DRHC as I have found a small studio who was ready to sponsor me, as I have the skills to work on some of their projects, but due to lack of certification (I´m self taught in computer graphics and FX), the request have been refuted after few months ... for the taxes I´m nearly nonexistent in this country, I work right now via internet, I try to earn my living this way, and believe it or not I´m like in jail, I go out just to buy some grocery, I don´t have a social life, even If I want to, but due to my situation I don´t have taste to do anything since so many years :( maybe you can´t understand this, as you are probably born here and don´t have to worry about a similar situation, and you see people like me as criminals, just remember that nobody want to live like this and you was luckier than other in this planet.
If I return home, I will probably not be able to travel anywhere else !!! I really love to return to my country even if I will be starving there at least it´s better than what I´m living here.
(sorry for my average English, I express my self better in french but I don´t know if I will be understood in this language)
