(in reply to: California driver's license) All U.S drivers licenses are convertible to Ontario Driver´s Licenses.
You will need to contact the Department of Motor Vehicles in California and ask them to send you a letter that basically outlines your driving record/history/experience and/or present your valid U.S driver´s license (if it shows the adequate driving experience). Either way they are going to take into account how long you´ve had your drivers license. If you´ve had 2 or more years of driving experience within the last 3 years you´ll be issued a full class license without having to pass a knowledge or road test.

BC driver's license (in reply to: California driver's license) How about if the situation is the other way around. I´m moving to Souther California from BC, Canada. Does anybody know if I can get my California driver´s license without taking exams by giving up my valid BC license to DMV?
Thanks
