Hi Richard,
Life has been busy down here, it is funny to see people dressing for a -40F weather and it´s not even bellow the freezing point yet lol.
I am on Meacham road in Schaumburg and I was wondering how´s your schedule for lunch instead of dinner..let´s say on Wednesday?
If can´t.. don´t worry, I have to come back in about couple months or so.
I am very tired already!!! I have been like a toilet seat (up and down) for the last 3 days!!!! and quite done yet.
I will look forward to hear from ya.
Cheers,
Bill

(in reply to: To Richard) Bill,
Today (Tue.) would have been good anytime as it´s a federal holiday and have the day off. Wed. have to be back at work, and only evening available. If that´s not good for you, let´s shoot for next time.
Sounds like it was a busy business trip for you. (I thought you said recently you retired!)
Cheers, Richard

(in reply to: To Richard) BTW, I know exactly where you´re at, not far from me. Yeah, we tend to panic when the cold weather starts to set in. But it´s all relative (compared to BC)!

(in reply to: To Richard) Richard,
Belive it or not, I had some stuff to attend yesterday (Tuesday). Holiday or not, traffic around here is brutal ;)
I am not working full time anymore and I spend lots of days in Kelowna now. Industry of Canada is going to do an audit about the frequency spectrum management in Fort McMurray and the people I sold my company to are asking me to give them a hand.
I´m purchasing and testing a whole bunch of instrumentation from Motorola here in Schaumburg. It will keep me busy for a few days!
After this I am out!!!! I will go back home and I am going to start enjoying my time off for gosh sakes ;)
I am a Shriner and I think is time to unpack the little car put the fez on and join the parades in BC and/or southern US!!!
Sharon, you will see me there.
Cheers,
Bill

(in reply to: To Richard) Wearing funny round hats with tassles while driving midget cars in parades... hmmmm, I dunno, Bill, maybe Chicago was a bit overwhelming for ya. :-)

(in reply to: To Richard) my uncle was a grand potentate at one point in time. I never quite understood the organization and found it all very strange and mysterious but the little cars... to love them was easy.

Sharon,
a Grand Potentate?hmm interesting.
That´s good, I think is a great organization, we do tons of charity for the Shriners children hospitals and the community. I have been a freemason for about 15 years and a Shriner for over 10 years.
It is not as mysterious as you may think it is LOL, all what you have to do is ask ;) I will be more than happy to clarify any questions if you have any.
We sure have a lot of fun driving those midget cars in parades as Richard said. We really do it for a good cause.
Well I really enjoyed my visit here, it is a nice city, lots of good places to go out for a byte to eat and windy as hell!it is my second time here, after a long conference yesterday, I went to a pub called the RAM just off Meacham by the IKEA (Richard may know where this is) and it was great, good food and the beer was tasty!
I had to cancell my trip to Dayton due to my dog who passed away while I was gone and my family needs me.
Sad day.
Bill
