Subject: Can my wife be denied PR?
Hi my wife and I are currently both living in germany. We just recently got legally married in denmark but had no ceremony, social or honeymoon. The reason being neither one of us has family here. We have lived together for 8 months and have residence cards to prove.

Will this be enough or will they deny her or make it difficult for us because we did not have these.

Also is there anything we should be careful about that might cause us major problems?

Yes you should worry about being negative, silly. Common Sense come on.

You reside in Germany and went to Denmark to get married. Did you go to Copenhagen?

If you entered Sealand you took the ferry. It takes several hours to get to Copenhagen. That is your honeymoon!!!! Did you walk through Tiviloi, walk down Strol, did you have any food from those street vendors with that wonderful ketchup, please tell me the two of you went into a pub and had a real Tuborg?

When there is a reason for unusual behavior and it is explained away there is no reason to view it negatively. We have plenty of clients who get married at City Hall with just two witnessess then hold a reception at the local Madarin RTestaurant or in their own residence.

Go out buy a cake, decorate a little and celebrate your happiness with a few friends.

Then sit down and take three hours to do the forms correctly. Ask a friend to look at the forms and ask any question they can think of. Prove the relationship, courtship well very well.

Have a great life.

Jas glad I made U smile.

When you live in other countries or have visited them many times you miss certain things.

I did not write what they wear on the beaches in the summer nor the German Pill Boxes in the sand dunes of Skagen SP.

The silly question I keep getting what is cohabitation? If you consider your livingwith the other that is cohabitation. We normally sleep together either at his place or mine so how do we explain that and is that cohabitation?

Explain everything so there is no misunderstandings.

Hi Roy:

Just curious.

What about long distance relationship? say 2 years.

then after years (with proofs of letters, emails, phone calls,a couple visit)

Got married, but without a long term of cohabitation? Due to finances, job conflicts, etc...

i know friends who gets home just to be married...with genuine relationship though but cohabited with spouse for only a week, a month...(?)

just curious...
