| Subject: H&C waiting time after exemption approved... |
Could you tell me how long after an exemption is granted for H&C and medical completed and submitted, do the application takes to be approved for PR and what are some factors that can affect the decision...thanks!

You would normally get a letter stating one too two years if you reside in the greater Toronto area so the answer depends on which office your or the persons file is at.
Hong Zhang my client won her H&C on Family day in February 2008 from the PRRA unit. Then her file got transferred to Mississauga CIC office and we have heard absolutly NOTHING from them.
Be happy and focus on the positive. Get your medical letter so you can obtain provincial health care certificate. Enjoy!
