Marhaba Rommel!

Which place are you in Saudi Arabia?

I´m an immigrant in Canada now and came from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. After 911, Saudi Arabia started issuing police certificate.

When I applied in 2002, I got the police clearance certificate from Jeddah police central district (I forgot the exact name). In order for me to understand and negotiate everything and to have an interpreter, I brought a colleague of mine who is a native speaker to the central police station.

As far as I recall, I was asked to get a police clearance request from Canadian Consulate in Jeddah (with the seal) and I paid SR150 for that and then I paid the police clearance certificate for SR30 at that time. After paying the clearance certificate I went back to the police central district and showed the receipt, then they I did the fingerprinting. Releasing the police certificate (at the time) took me more than a month.

Good luck to you Rommel.

Saudi PCC is issued by the Police Heaquarters in each Province. You have to obtain a letter from the Canadian Consulate in Riyad. Its an Arabic Letter issued by the Canadian Consulate to the Police dept to issue you a PCC.
You have to take your original Passport and 2 photos along with the letter and approach the Police dept. It is issued within 15 days. Electronic fingerprinting is done and there are no fees at all. This was in 2006. Not sure of the current requirments but should be the same.

I had obtained my PCC from Dammam and got the letter from the Canadian Consulate in Riyad.

Good Luck.
Chris

Dear Chris, (in reply to: Saudi Arabia Police Clearance)
Dear Chris,

Recived Update Letter
AOR jan 2007 under SAP federal skilled worker
update letter Nov 2008

My details: i am single lived in India for 22 years and since Sep 2002 i am working in Saudi Arabia nearly 6+ years
But in my update letter for PCC it was written like this: this does not apply to residents of Saudi Arabia? What it means

Police clearance certificates
Submit police certificates for yourself and each of your dependents who are 18 years old or over for each country lived in for 6 months or more since reaching age 18. You must submit the original document and a translation if the document is not in English or French. This does not apply to residents of Saudi Arabia, who will be sent a request for police clearance certificate and facilitation letter when the application is in process

right now i am working in dammam but my iquma is from Riyadh could you please guide me how to collect PCC and from which location in dammam

Regards
