hello everyone!i want to sponsor my daughter.i am currently on my maternity leave.im just wondering if maternity leave is part of social assistance?cuz i know that if ur in social assistance u cannot sponsor.tenks.hope someone can clarify me about this.

No. Mat leave is not considered social assistance. This is employment insurance and is difference from Welfare.
