Karen who ever is retained make sure they provide at least three references and show you files as to their experience in this area of concern.
Remembering if not authorized and the file ends up in a mess you need someone who will be able to go into CIC and speak with someone.

I would suggest contacting him as he does not have to spend doing self promotions. He is registered and specializes in American-Canadian immigration.

Yeah that is correct I do not pay for advertisements on the internet. I answer questions for free and give quality advice. Making sure people like James do not rip off unsuspecting people like Karen. OOOOH Bad Roy! Self Promotion!
Attitude ----- attitude of a representative means nothing. What is important is if he/she can prove that they have a hands on situation of any spousal application. When a couple are passionately in love they are blind to what really needs to be included in any spousal application. Having a huge Law Firm and assigning a brand new employee to take care of your application for three times the price is a recipe for disaster.

I am an immigrant. Not an employee of consultant.
I have no vested interest at all except that my case is VERY similar to the "friends".

Hey guys,
I don´t want to start any arguments - I thank each of you for your recommendations and will pass them on - at the end of the day it is up to my friends to find someone they trust.
For reference, I have always found Roy´s advice to be good, and at the same time I have no reason to distrust the person that James has recommended either.
I did not mean to cause any bad feeling between people on this forum.
