Hi i like to ask you if 20-25 people get in to the church peacefull and start a strike of hunger asking for status for all ilegals emigrants what the governament can do? change the ruells or ask the police to get in and to end the strike? or let them die there ?

why hunger strike in a church? Why don´t you try first a PEACEFUL demonstration in fornt of immigration office? like what Mexicans did in the US. Why subject yourself to the risk of starvation and death? Do you want to die just to live in Canada? Go and live in your ountry in dignity...It is not worthy..

It is far better to be for something then against something. Peace Rallies ended the Vietnam War. Peace Niks were accepted far better then the current anti war people.
How has the war on terrorism worked?
How has the war on Drugs worked?
Obama will be doing something about all the illegals in the US and at that time it may become politically correct to do the same here.
Until then be positive and focus on what is something that most Canadian´s would find acceptable.

Anonymous they did one peaceful demonstration in jean tallon metro in montreal 2 years ago and nothing hapen, in the news they talk 10 second and finish there. My questiuon was to do something big NOW OR NEVERE. THanx anyway

The issue is simple do something positive!
Sewing your lips shut, starving one self, blocking traffic upsetting Canadian´s by pointing out Immigration Canada is not fair creates a climate of so you don´t like Canada then go home.
Point out the assets people like your friends and yourself will have if given status is far superior. Attacking others only creates attacks against you.

WHEN ONE IS NEGATIVE AND POINTING OUT TO OTHER CANADIANS THAT THEIR IMMIGRATION SYSTEM IS UNFAIR IT IS AN ATTACK. YOUR ACTION WILL BE SEEN BY THE CHURCH PUBLIC TO BE PUTTING THEIR CHURCH IN A BAD LIGHT.
I know what is required to get a story in the NY Times or in the media in Canada and this is a bad idea.
You are going to (occupy) a Church were the majority of Parishioners are Canadian and you want to draw attention to illegal immigrants by going on a Hunger Strike.
Without having a token few Illegal Immigrant in your Hunger Strike whom you would be putting at risk for removal --- who would care?
You have to make it personal and by bringing them into the Church you would be putting their situation at risk.
How many Canadians have the time and would be willing to starve themselves for a whole month to get realistic media attention with your silly Hunger Strike.
Whether you believe it or not you have to get permission from a higher authority then the local Pastor to occupy a Church, occupy a Church, occupy a Church, occupy a Church, occupy a Church, COME ON!!!!!!
Like I suggested focus on the positive to get the story out.
If you want Canada AM, Mike Duffy Live, CBC, SunMedia or any national newspaper reporters numbers just ask. I know how to make the Papers and Media listen your idea is not logical nor will it sell adverts.
It is not personal so do not take it personal but it is just my opinion based on hundreds of media stories when it comes to Immigration Issues.

Media attention can backfire so be careful.
It can work wonders too so read the Mavis Baker case on the Best Interest of the Child when George Lorenz suggested adverse media attention to his supervisor who is now a Consultant and that he should check with Region and they never asked the H&C program Specialist at region.
I´ll give you one guess who that H&C Program Specialist was!!!!!!!
Without paying for a newspaper column like Guidy or Mario I get quoted just as often if not more.

O Greva e urise po u beme 6 vjet qe rime keteja pa dokumenta nuk shtyhet me,gjyqet si morem dot mbaroi filmi i gjyqeve jemi ilegale, te kthehesh ne Shqiperi ku te vesh ku ka punra atje.Me greve urie studentet rezuan qeverine me 1991.
