| Subject: financial manager- new list- need help |
i did M.COM and MBA(FINANACE)and working as branch manager in well known finanacial services company in india and my job duties and responsibilities are same as financial managers and financial analyst. am i eligible in new list of 38 occupations if i apply for pr.please help as i am confused.

as I just said to speedoflight - check the list of duties rather than titles of the positions. the NOC code is bigger than one name in each category.
there is also the arranged employment of PNP program.
the entire basis for this new set of requirements is to insure you can find appropriate employment upon arrival in Canada. If your skill is not on the list that should be a good signal that finding appropriate work in Canada would be very difficult.

WOW Sharon great advice!
People always hit the VIEW ALL TITLES section of any NOC code.
What the NOC classifies an occupation in Canada can be confusing an appear not to be described properly. Regardless of the title if you do the duties and can prove same CIC will overlook some of the other requirements. Being in an occupation that is regulated in all provinces but not in your country is not a hurdle one has to leap. Requiring a Masters when in your country is not required and you have ten years of experience is also not a hurdle.
Any CV or reference letter from any employer should focus on your experience based on the major duties section of that particular NOC.

Hi I am Lead Financial Analyst in Thomson Reuters, and have total 6 years of work experience in Financial Reporting.I worked with Hewlett Packard for 4 yes and GE for 1.5 yrs and closely 8 months with Thomson Reuters.All my education and work experience is from India. I am just a Bcom graduate and done PGDBA in Finance.
