Subject: CBSA separating mother from child
I was called to the CBSA office a few weeks ago. The officer was determined to remove me from Canada but didn?t do so because I showed him a court order from the family court which had a non removal clause for my son who I have sole custody of and who is not a Canadian.

The officer told me he would call me back in 2 weeks and he would remove me and keep my son in the country!!! I know that CIC has done this before in the past.

Can they do this?
Is there anything I can do to stop them?

Well is it interm or full custody?

How and why did you get custody?

The officer has to be alive, alert and sensitive to the best interest of the child. I have a father who was told that he needed to bring in a ticket two and a half years ago by an officer. I see that Dad every day. That officer is no longer an officer.

Attitude is everything, details are extremely important and if your in the GTA write Reg Williams head of CBSA, get your picture in the paper and fire with all barrels a blazing.

Good Luck.

Been there done that.
