(in reply to: need help with visa confusion) Try to get the refund ASAP you inform them.
NEVER hide anything from CHC Singapore..applying for immigration is not a negative point to get a student visa. good luck.

(in reply to: need help with visa confusion) But can you change your status from student visa to permenant when searching for work or got a job offer letter etc. ?
Will this be benefitial to you if you study in canada for one year let say and apply for Skilled Worker immigration ?

(in reply to: need help with visa confusion) Why do you have to withdraw the PR application? Just apply for Student Visa and leave your PR application alone.. I have applied for PR as a Skilled Worker, and while I was waiting, I worked in Canada with my Work Permit. I even extended the work permit a couple of time before I was finally a PR in Canada. (There wasn´t Canadian Experience Class back then)

(in reply to: need help with visa confusion) Apply for study permit. In the study permit application, do not forget to mention that your PR application is in process else you will get into trouble.
There is no need to withdraw your PR application.
