I am a permanent resident in canada and i am sponsoring my husband who came to canada on a visitor´s visa. We completed and submitted application for inland sponsorship. His mother is not feeling well and he wanted to go to his country for about 2 months to help her. My question is: would he be allowed back in the country? Should I notify CIC office even though we don´t have a file number? We just submitted the application.

the question is if his visitor visa is valid or not, if not, don´t even try to leave this country and come back, you can renew it before you leave Canada if possible
