Subject: my common-law deported
My common-law was deported recently before our spousal sponsorship application could be processed.

I?m in the process of submitting a new overseas sponsorship application. Is there a way to get my CL to come back a wait for her application to be processed here?

Highly unlikely. Under what grounds was she deported? Is she from a visa exempt country or not? If she was deported, they are not likely to grant her entry as there may be concern as to whether or not she would leave at the end of her visit.

Given that she was deported, I wouldn´t get your hopes up.

Don´t Worry Be Happy!

This is a beautiful lady that you, lived with for a year, shared your bed, shared your hopes and dreams, shared your income and your bills, shared everything!

Well at least now your missing her.

Why not focus on getting her back legally for good.

I just don´t know were your head was all during the long removal process!!!!!

First cancel the first undertaking before you ever submit another undertaking.

Secondly get some professional advice because you screwed up the first application by submitting it too late.

There are many more girls around the place. Please stop worrying about the lost girl and look for a brand new love. You just might be happier with another lady.

Do what your heart tells you to do
prepare your application using your brain and smartness
you have to proove your relationship by providing evidence
your feelings wont be enough

i wish you all the best

Can I rely on the processing times posted on the CIC website? Are they accurate?
Do those processing times apply to people who have been deported?

Outland timelines are for 30 to 80% of the cases. Being deported causes the case to be more complicated ~ it may push it outside of the 80% timeframe. I would count on a longer timeline, only because they need to deal with the reason for the deportation etc. The more complicated the case, the longer it is going to take while they work through the paperwork.
