weather lady is projecting -15 with wind chill for Vancouver tonight and tomorrow. I have no idea what to do with -15. any ideas?

no snow tires, my exotic gardenia is as close to the house as I can bring it (if it dies from cold I will have a serious distress experience). I filled the voids with crumpled newspaper, wrapped a towel around it and covered the entire plant with a green garbage bag. Any good advice???

I know Roy and Richard are laughing at me.

Yes Sharon LOL

REVENGE is soooo sweet.

Yesterday (Sunday) the family and I went for a walk next to Lake Ontario it was so warm. Virtually all the snow had melted, puddles everywhere, lots of others out walking their dogs etc. etc.

Why would you worry about snow tires with temperatures like that its going to be too chilly to snow?

It snowed Saturday night. About 15cm at my place. Now it is -8 and your right... too cold to snow.

We now are dealing with black ice and a population that has no concept of how to drive. (my Dad was a commercial traveller so he taught me well). It is so stupid out there that I decided to work at home so my car can be safe from crazy people. I must confess, I prefer the sunny cold to the grey warm rain - at least for a few days.

I have wrapped up my gardenia and now all I can do is hope for the best.

yes... laugh. I deserve it.

Started out today plus 9 Celsius and now is minus 13 Celsius with the wind chill.

Learn to enjoy the weather because you can not change it.

you would laugh so hard if you saw me. I am at home today in my thick socks, fleece sweats with a blanket wrapped around me holding an enormous cup of hot tea. I am absolutely freezing.

talked with my guy today and it is 15 in north Africa. he is complaining that it´s cold there too. LOL

All in what you get used to.

It is pathetic to see people driving in Kelowna. There is only like a foot of snow out there and won´t even drive and if they do they will drive at 20km the whole way and as soon as the car skids a bit they will step hard on the brakes!!!!!

Oh my Gosh!!!! I am going bananas with these people!!!!!
COME ON!!!! IT IS ONLY -10C AND YOU CAN ACTUALLY SEE THE COLOUR OF THE ROAD!!!!!! GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!

They actually shut the local school down because is too cold!!!!
What a bunch of woose!

Ahhhhh that was my rant for today!

You can tell in my neighborhood who´s from Alberta and who´s a tree hugger.

I am glad I am going to BC again on Thursday!!! I can´t wait!

Happy holidays everyone.

Cheers,

Bill
