I have a family who came to Canada and made a unsuccessful refugee claim. The husband came to me and asked me to submit a H&C application on behalf of his family.
Husband had difficulty finding work so took a course in driving Long Haul Trucks.
Wife had difficulty finding work so took a course to update Nursing credentials.
Both their educational/occupational upgrading took place before they lost their refugee claim. Which is VERY important!
Husband now leases NINE tractor trailers and wife is a Registered Nurse.
Today CBSA called them to a PRRA Pre Removal Risk Assessment!
CIC approved their H&C application today.
This really shows that the two organizations do not communicate very well.
