Subject: Question regarding PR staying in Canada
I am a canadian citizen who sponsored their husband from India a couple years ago. He has since landed and we have been living here together for about a year in half. Recently I was offered a great opportunity to work in Europe for an indefinate amount of time. My concern is his PR status. I know that he must live here for at least three years before applying for citizenship, if we leave the country for a year or two does he risk loosing his PR status even if we are together. Is there a minium amount of days in particular amount of time that he must be in canada to maintain his status? Thanks in advance.

As long as he accompanies a you, he is fine. He can stay with you indefinitely without any issue. Just, he can´t apply for citiznship unless he physically stays for 3 yeas out of 4.
