What exactly is the total amount of money that I will have to pay for my husband and I to apply for permanent resident. Do we both have to pay the right of permanent resident fee? I can´t quite figure out what the total cost of applying for husband and wife is, but it looks like it´s almost $3000+
Also, if applying after living in canada for 6mos do you have to be fingerprinted for RCMP background check, or is that only if your name check shows a criminal record?

500 each for application and once approved 975 each for landing
