I have worked for 2 years as accounts manager which falls under NOC 0111- FINANCIAL MANAGER. I have an undergraduate degree in Business administration. BBA. I have payslips and work eperience letter, will all these factors and documentation be enough to satisfy CIC to get eligible? I would be applying as Federal skilled worker under new rules. Umair,
The title does not matter the actual duties does. What you actually do day in day out should match the HRSDC duties for Financial Manager. Your experience letters should reflect those duties.
Please compare your current duties with NOC0111 - http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC-CNP/app/checkversion.aspx?lc=e&noccode=0111
This should give you an idea. Please pay close attention to "Employment Requirements" which shows what else you will need apart from a degree.

Thanks for your help and response. As far as main duties are concerned it is not too much problem, I did many tasks during my job which are near to the main duties and i can get an eperience letter from the employer. But please advise on the Employment requirements below:
Employment requirements
?A bachelor´s degree in business administration, economics, commerce or a related field is required.
?Accounting and audit managers may require a recognized accounting designation (CA, CMA or CGA).
?A master´s degree in business administration (concentration in finance), or another master´s level management program may be required.
?Several years of experience in accounting, auditing, budgeting, financial planning and analysis or other financial activities are required.
From the above I only have a bachelor´s degree and 2 years experience in accounts. But i dont have a masters. In the requirements above it says bachelor degree IS required, but masters degree MAY be required. I also dont have a CA,CFA or ACCA accountant qualification. My BBA was major in IT and from last 2 years i am doing an IT job. How does all this come out? I am not sure.

Umair,
I am afraid that I will not be able to answer to the extent of accuracy you expect. I am neither an immigration expert nor an attorney. My thoughts are from personal experience.
Based on what you said, the work profile does not sound heavy but if you have desire to migrate to Canada and have funds for application fee, I think it is worth a try. It all depends on the immigration officer that picks up your file.

Look at your spelling mistakes Umair, You got a IELTS ahead and those typa spelling mistakes could slash quite a bit of points from you.

could any one let me know,i have a master degree,and financial manager with more then 15 years experience.
i want to apply for canadian immigration under skilled worker categories.i appeared in ielts and got band 5,
according to ,my calculation my total marks would be not mre then 64,but my consultant told me that i have good chances to qualify,
is it true pls guide me accordingly...

Hello all,
Iam working in the finance division of a commercial bank since 10 years. Im into financial and management reporting and my employment letter and job description does reflect my duties, but my title is officer, nobody in our division except the head of division has the title of manager. Iam reporting to the General Manager Finance. I have opt NOC 0111 - Financial Managers. Can anybody tell that I have selected the correct NOC or not. Iam confused because my main responsibilities is financial and management reporting and not all the finance functions. anybody advice.
