Hi
I have submitted my application on Nov 27, 2008 and I haven?t received any kinds of acknowledgement letter from Mississauga but now I want to put my case on hold or ask them to return my application without future process till I am sure that the guy I am married to is loyal and not exploiting this relationship for coming to Canada.
I would like to know the process. I have paid all the fees including landing fees altogether.
Am I gona loss all the money? If not all, how much am I gona loss?
Am I gona have a hard time reapplying for sponsorship for the same person later on after i am sure he is genuine?
How can I ask them to return my application without processing it further or put my application on hold for a while?
Do let me know any other options if there are any to consider other than puting the case on hold. If there is something else I can do and still don?t need to stop the case do let me know. I would really appreciate it.

don´t think there is any such thing as putting an application on hold. You can withdraw it - tell them the truth - you want to be sure this is legit.
Send them a registered letter with your name, birth date, SIN# and address so they can locate your file.
depending on whether they have started work on your application or not - you may not get your filing fee back.
tell your husband to come on his own merits! that way you are never left to wonder. If your gut tells you to be cautious- LISTEN.

thanks so much for replying me....
ever since i told my husband that i am thinking of holding the case for sometime cuz i dont think we have gud understanding so far....
he quickly said yeh i should do that showing me that he doesnt care at all but then he called back in the evening and next day......
i higly doubt that he is using me to come here.
But what i want to know is that if later on i want to apply for his case again....are we going to have a hard time applying and are they (immigration ppl) going to consider the fact that i asked them to stop the case and returned the application to me.
is it going to delay the case later on?
