Subject: hard time with immigration representative
  Hi,

I wanted a expert advice and suggestion who had experienced immigration representative. I have taken service from immigration representative but they are giving me hard time for any and all updates.
They didn´t send me information about some updated document and forms which CHC asked me to submit within 90 days. Now its too late. When I contact representative office they make some silly excuses. I wanted to cancel their services but before that I want to know what will happen to my case especially when they screwed up all these.

Please advice me how to proceed with my case now.

thanks,
-kammo

Jose and W1

Not all are created equal. Client´s and Representatives alike!

You two give advice and know virtually, no facts! Do you not find your response irresponsible?

This Kammo/KAMMP person hired a representative for ___________. Well, what type of application??????

Any letter is normally to update any In Land Spousal or H&C application and it is normally 30 or 45 days not ninety. THREE MONTHS TO UPDATE, YEAH RIGHT????

CIC sends update information letters to both the client and the representative regardless of mailing address. So..... did Kammo OR KAMMP fail to change his/her mailing address? Did Kammo/KAMMP get the letter too?

Kammo/KAMMP claimed he/she retained an Immigration Representative! No information at all that the person retained was authorized and a member of a Provincial Bar or CSIC!!! Jose where do you see information in Kammo/KAMMP posting that the Immigration Representative is a CSIC member? W1 You don´t even know what they applied for!!!

An authorized Immigration Representative can be a Lawyer or a Consultant.

Kammo/KAMMP never stated he/she retained a Consultant.
Kammo/KAMMP never stated he/she didn´t retain a Lawyer.
Kammo/KAMMP never stated he/she retained an authorized representative.

*****I am not defending Immigration Representatives I am trying to point out when one gives advice don´t give blanket examples with no basis of fact.*****

Kammo/KAMMP two different names, why?

Is this a real question?
90 days, 90 days, 90 days, 90 days, why ninety days that is so illogical?

30 days or 45 days that is logical. In the GTA CIC requests updates and state if not received within the time frame a decision could be rendered without the requested items. The file is not even put on an officers desk for another three months.

It is never too late when no decision has been rendered to update any file.

The other question is for an In Land Spousal application

HOW MUCH QUALITY INFORMATION COULD BE UPDATED. Your married and you only have ten new photos, your not pregnant, you have not moved, etc. etc..

The other question is for a H&C application how more established are you? You have not moved, your still renting, your employer is still the same.

PEOPLE WHEN GIVING ADVICE DO NOT MAKE BLANKET STATEMENTS THAT CAN NOT BE SUPPORTED BY THE ORIGINAL POSTINGS OF FACTS.

Hi,
Can someone please let me know the process how I can cancel CSIC rep service. I want to proceed further my own.
I have a question about documents and correspondence done with my rep so far, how I´ll get those back. I think my rep will not give any document related to my case and received from CHC.

I just have my file#, will it work for future correspondence with CHC?

thanks,
-kammo

You need to send a form to the CHC that is processing your case and request them to take your representative out of your file and that you wish to deal directly with the CHC.

The form is on the CIC website (I dont remember the name/number), search for it.

Thanks for the prompt response. I have another question. As I checked my case status on CHC website, it says decision has been made. I think they rejected my case because of documents not submitted to them. My representive messed up with all this.

Is there any way I can request them to reopen or reconsider the case because it was not my mistake.

thanks,
-kammo
