Do I need a degree to claim I have experience in a occupation such as a Accountant? I actually have a degree which I got 4 years after I was hired an a Accountant?

To work in Canada you don`t need a degree. Those are worthless pieces of paper as no one looks at them anyways. All you need is a mop, some gloves, broom and fantastic. As this is where you will have to start from if you are moving to Canada. Even a doctor`s degree does not guarantee you a job....An accountant ha ha ha in Canada!!
