I am the sister of Barb, would appreciate hearing from you and any help you may give me. To refresh your memory, I moved to Canada when I was 7 years old (Barb thought I was 10 ) anyway, I had landed immigration papers. I moved to the states when I was 32, I do have a SSI number. At one point, I was going to Canada when my Mother was ill. They took my papers and at that time I really did not care, as my only thought was with my Mom. I have no idea if or how I can move back. Please, if anyone has any help or advice, please let me know. Thanking you in advance.
Sincerely,
Paula
P.S. I still sound Canadian, when I say out, about, house, and I spell colour with a "u", also, I spell cheque the proper way....not check like they do here in the States.

US Citizen, Lived in Canada 20 years (in reply to: moving back to Canada) Roy,
I also sent you an e-mail...I am Paula, sister of Barb whom started corresponding with you. I moved to Canada as a Landed Immigrant at the age of 7.(she had the age as 10) I moved to Florida in 1983. My landed Immigration papers where taken by a Canadian Customs lady at the airport. My Mother was very ill and that was all I had on my mind at that time....anything to get me into Canada and on my way to the Hospital. I really want to come "home" I had never planned to stay here this long. I will always be Canadian in my Heart. I have no idea what my next step should be. I do have a SSI number. I feel like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, only, I don´t have ruby slippers. I would really appreciate any help or info you may give me. Enjoy your day.
Sincerely,
Paula
