HI to all , A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL.
I am a regular reader of the discussions here , however i have not contributed much.

I have secured an arranged employment in my own field in ontario and have just applied for my immigrationthrough a canada based lawyer suggested by my company.

However i have a problem that i am not able to decide and require your help.

I am a 28 year old, obese male and with my BMI doctors have said it is good if i go through the gastric bypass surgery to loose weight. Actually we have a family history of blood clots and strokes, and my corrent BP and Sugar are under control but borderline high, my doctors say that these are secondary to my weight and getting this surgery will reduce and.or eliminate all these health risks.

However i am inclined towards this procedure being done i am scared that getting this procedure done before might be a reason of rejection of my PR application which i cannot risk , and if i dont get it done i may be deemed obese with BP and Sugar , so probably not fit for immigration .

Please i need your help on this , i tried to browse around but am not able to find specific responses on similar matter ....

Please advice wether i should do the surgery before or after immigration and what are my immigration success chances in both scenarios..... My doctor said my condition and weight will drastically improve within six months of the surgury and as i have applied just recently i am sure it will take atlease 8-12 months even under the new system before medicals and/or decision....

please friends i need you advice on this .. pls oblige ....

regards.
