Subject: Waiting for PR
  I have lived in Canada for over 3 years on a temporary work permit. My PR application was submitted to the Buffalo Office in July 2008 and I have not heard anything back yet. Is this normal?

I would have thought it would be quicker for people living in Canada. It was submitted just before the Canadian Experience Class was available
