| Subject: Howlong does it take to get PR cardafter landing? |
Hi Everybody,
I am just wondering how long does it take to get the PR card after landing.

Up to 6 weeks, could be longer if their is something wrong, for example the photo you gave is not to specification, so you would have to submit another picture (in person, if I understand it correctly).
If you are leaving Canada, you can fax them a request form with a copy of your return ticket. They may send the card earlier. I think the form is on the CIC website.

My friend has arrived Canada in december,8,2008 and received the PR card in January 10,2009.
