How long will it takes to get LMO approval?

Subject: How long will it takes to get LMO approval?
  I have paid my agency last november 3, 2008 but until now i have´nt get my LMO, she said that it takes a long time now to process the LMO. Unlike before my friend was able to get her LMO after 6weeks last july 2008 with the same agent?Is there any reasons that the application for LMO can be denied or is there any timeframe on how long will it takes to release the LMO? thanks....
