| Subject: Visa to US from Canada ( as a permanent resident). |
Is obtaining US visa from Canada as a permanent resident hard? Are negative experiences more than the positive ones (as in other parts of the world)?. Thanks.

IT IS THE SAME YOU HAVE TO SHOW THAT YOU HAVE TIES TO THE COUNTRY AND YOU WILL HAVE TO RETURN. Ties like a permanent job/ house/ apt lease or wife, kids.Of course since you are PR of Canada one of the main reasons is you will soon be citizen here and why should you abandon that for becoming illegal in US.
