| Subject: How long after tb is cleared before approval? |

Anyone have any experience with tb and immigartion?
My wife had tb, did the 6 month treatment, was deamed healthy. And we have yet to hear from Manila. Its been 4.5 months since DMP sent results to Manila and 4 months since new medicals were sent(as they requested since old ones expired). We are now at 18 months into the process and a total of 3.5 years of living apart.
Is there a number I can call to inquire or an email or fax number?
Also since its been 18 months will they request a new NBI also?
I was patient up until about 2 months after tb was cleared, since we couldnt do anything about tb except clear it, but now im getting annoyed at the wait with no info.

In new medicals did you send sputum culture report? If not, then you might be asked to provide the same. Also, CIC must be confirming that the treatment provided to your wife meets Canadian standards.
If by NBI you mean police clearance certificate, then most likely you would not be asked to provide the same.

Yes sputum was sent. Treatment was done through there recomended DMP the way they require it to be done.
