Subject: Getting landed immigrant status
  Hi, my friend has been in Canada for 13 years. He came from Germany about 13 years ago and stayed. He was asked to leave some years ago but was allowed back in to Canada a few weeks later. This is his home now and he wants to start the proces to become a landed immigrant so that he can work, pay taxes and be eligable for health care. Is it possible to do this while in Canada?
