Subject: account statement from Germany
  Hello!
I got questions ref landing in Canada and proof of funds:
Is it enough to provide a statement of my account (German Bank) in German language when landing in Canada (skilled worker class, land in Calgary)? Or do I have to translate the statement into English, but the account balance will be in Euro? Is it a problem?
Do they always ask for proof of funds when landig?

Thank you so much for your answers in advance
Lucia

I believe you will find in your paperwork a statement that all documents must be translated (and the translation notarized)into either English or French, Canada´s two official languages. I would include a rough conversion of your balance into Canadian dollars as well (they understand it´s subject to change). Be prepared to show your statement when you land.
