Hi, I sent my application for skilled worker visa to the singapore office in 2006. I have the file number by October 2006. On June 2007, I sent an email to the CIC office in Singapore asking about my application, and they replied that (at that moment) they are processing the application from mid-2004 and my application should be processed around mid-2009.
A few days ago, I wrote a post in this forum asking about the application status, and someone told me thay he applied on August 2006 and already got the letter for medical by October 2008. So I was curious about my application and decided to sent another email to CIC Singapore office asking about my status. I just received an email from them saying: "Please note that we are currently reviewing applications received prior to November 2004. Please await further contact from this office."
So my emails (about when will my application go further to medical) were 19 months apart but the application process only moves from mid-2004 to November 2004? If it took 19 months to move from mid-2004 applications to November 2004 applications, when will it move to October 2006 (my application)?
Is this normal or is there anything wrong with my application? Should I be worried about it? Thanks for your help

Absolutely normal. Waiting is the only game that you gotta play, if anything cic SG wanna let you know, they will. dont worry.
