Hi everyone,
I am looking for someone who can guide me for most important things to be considered for spouse sponsorship. I am arranging documents according to sponsorship Checklist.
I will submit application here in mississauga. My wife is in Karachi.
I went to Karachi in Dec-2008 for Nikkah Ceremony.
If possible please post here time line for spouse sponsorship for Islamabad.

Note: the 6 to 9 months is after your application to sponsor is approved in Mississauga. i.e. the time it takes Islamabad to process the papers ~ and this is for up to 80% of the cases so there is no guarantee it will only take 9 months in the visa office.

Hello,
My then fiance traveled here in March 2011, we then married as she had a six month visa, she left home to Thailand as her mother was ill, 6 weeks later. I am just about all done the sponsorship documents, but was wondering, would her return to Thailand have a bearing on my sponsorship request, and what it the time frame for sponsorship approval? She told me it is usually six weeks from time of submission, however, I find that to be quick?

6 weeks (approximately) for you to be approved as a sponsor. After than, it will go to Thailand for the second stage of approval. Each country of origin has a different processing time that you must add to your 6 weeks.

I just filed for my wife who is in India, I just want to know does it always take 8 months, or is there a chance her papers will be processed sooner and if so, what are the chances?
