Subject: Medical for pregnant wife
  Hi,
I am an international student in Canada and got medical request. However, my wife is 6 weeks pregnant. So, we asked from the doctor and they said that they will do the medical except for the X-ray which will be done after the birth of baby.
My question is that if CIC make decision on my case then is it possible that they will give me PR without giving PR to my wife as her X-ray wont be avaiable to them. My issue is that I want to get PR before september 2009, but expected date of my child is late September. So usually CIC make decision on both cases simultaneously or they can make decision on each case individually?
Regards

This is a normal situation and CIC accepts the pregnancy as a cause to delay the Xray.
Write a letter to the CIC and supplemented with a letter of her doctor(stating her pregnancy and gestational age). He any additional supportive results are useful (ultrasound..etc)..

CIC is expected to accept it. However, this will delay the applications processing.

Thank you anonymous!
So it means they will not make decision on my (only mine) case until X-rays from my wife are available to them? Is this the case?
