Subject: received PR application back from buffalo ?
  Hi Friends,

I searched all the threads in this forum but there wasn´t a sureshot ans .
My question is ..

I applied for PR under Federeal skilled worker with NOC 2174 and 2171 .
Both are not in new 38 NOC list (but they are under subcategory )

Did any one received PR application back from buffallo NY office for not being in one of 38 new NOC code ?
If yes , was your code under a subcategory ?
Will the sucategory codes qualifies as part of 38 NOC ?

My details

Education : Bachelor Degree in Computer Science and Engineering
Exp : 7+
Currently in US

If you applied after the rule changes were announced and do not fall under the 38 occupation list, you will be refused. However, if you applied after Feb 28, 2008 and before the rule changes were announced your file will be returned alongwith the application fee.
