Subject: Roy, need your expertise for this Q.
  Hi,

My husband has filled in the forms for the Application for Canada PR. He is the primary applicant and I am the spouse. My husband has a job in Canada since Dec. 2007 and is staying in Canada. I am working with a s/w company in the US and stay in the US. We keep visiting each other alternate months.

Now the Q. is:
Shall I post the Application for PR to Buffalo from my US address? Or shall he post it from his Canada address? Someone told us that if I post from US address and since I am in Oklahoma, the application would come to Canadian Consulate in Los Angeles for processing and it would be much faster than if it is posted from Canada in which case it will be processed in Buffalo itself. Now, I wanted to ask if this is true? And also, since my husband is the primary applicant, if it is legal to post the application from our US address.

Were it is mailed from makes no difference. Fill in the country specific forms where you wish it to be processed.

Thx Roy ! one more thing pls. (in reply to: Roy, need your expertise for this Q.)
For Canada PR being filed in Category 3 from either US or Canada, the visa office would be Buffalo, USA only. So, I understand that this is fake piece of information that if I submit from OK, USA, it would be sent over to Los Angeles for prosessing, right?

Another Q. is that I have all the filled forms in my possession in USA, but we wanted the Canadian Consulate to communicate with my husband´s Canada address. This is because I am planning to shift to Canada in 2-3 mnths. So, can I mail from US but put my husband´s Canada address in the To: Address and would the Consulate then send the file no. to the Canada address? Peculiar situation :P

Mailing address is a mailing address. Do you really think you can do this yourself?
