Subject: questions about immigration
I´m a 23 year old male from the Netherlands who has fallen in love with a Canadian girl. We want nothing more than to be with each other. Because of the language and her starting college again I´ve decided to move to Canada. I´ve visited her in Toronto recently and I´d love living there.

My current job is web developer for a medium sized company in the Netherlands. I have a bachelor of ICT degree.

We´ve been gathering information and looking at different options for a while now but it´s very difficult to decide what the best route is. The options we came up with:

* Applying for a skilled worker visa. I think I would score just enough points to qualify for one, provided the basic level of French required is very basic. I´m concerned about being allowed in as a visitor during the time I´m waiting for my skilled worker visa though.

* Temporary work, maybe a Canvisa placement? I think I might qualify as a "Software Products Developer". I have experience working with Windows and Unix systems, I use Java Script daily at work. I have worked with MS Access though I usually use MySQL

* Staying as a tourist for less than 6 months while working for my Dutch company. Going back to the Netherlands for a few weeks in between. I can´t find any information confirming or denying the possibility of doing this.

* Marrying my girlfriend. We´re a bit concerned about her being able to be a sponsor as she´s going back to college and will receive some form of support for that.

* Visiting Canada and applying for permanent residency there. Is this really possible? Found it here: http://www.canada-city.ca/canada-immigration/posting.php?messageid=26289

Could anyone help us by reviewing these options and giving feedback? I´d be more than willing to pay for a good representative if that greatly increases my chances of moving to Canada.

I strongly recommed to hire a professional service beforme making any movement. Things are not as easy as many people think. Don´t think that saving money will make your life easier.

Thanks, I am seriously considering to do that. I wouldn´t apply for a skilled worker or marriage visa without some form of professional support for sure. I´d be way to scared I´d make a mistake.

Since I´ve met my girlfriend I´ve been trying to be a lot more conservative with my savings. However, I am more than willing to spend money on services that will help me move.

I´m planning on visiting her for 2 months to see what living together would be like. I think we want to start taking steps after that, so we´re trying to gather as much information as we can before then.

I don´t think it´s easy at all, I´m quite worried to be honest. Especially considering the crisis being a lot worse over there compared to the Netherlands.
