Subject: Birth Certificate
We need to submit birth certificates along-with the application of PR. As we do not have birth certificates in India, can passport front page suffice as a birth certificate as that has the birth date written on it.

You can go to your Indian embassy and ask them how to go about this problem; Indian embassies will issue a Birth certificate (certified) based the birth info in your passport.

You can ask the embassy of India to issue a certificate of birth. This is not same as birth certiface but is issued based on your passport.

You can also send photocopy of passport pages and other documents showing your date of birth alongwith a letter explaining your situation. This will also be acceptable in most cases.
