Subject: 38 NOC list occupation
  hi ,
i am a Senior SAP consultant with more than 6yrs of industry experience . i want to apply to Federal skill worker (PR) application.
my question is that i am not a SAP manager so i am not listed in 38 NOC list by CIC. i however fall in other NOC list 0712,correct me if the code is correct as IT consultant . Should i apply for PR, because i have read several of your discussion form that an application filed outside canada fails in i do fall in 38 NOC list of occupation.

Second if i can file the PR application, please let me know which IELTS exams i need to appear to apppear General/Academic version and what grade i shall get to avail the maximum points.
thanks
Anoymous

I think that the Senior SAP Consultants are included in:

2171 Information Systems Analysts and Consultants

http://www.jobfutures.ca/noc/2171.shtml

Take the IELTS general test in order to immigrate to Canada.

Good luck!

38 NOC list occupation (in reply to: 38 NOC list occupation)
thanks Edu..does it mean that i have a chance for PR eventhough, My occupation is not listed in list of 38 occupation by CIC. without a Arrange Employement.

i have read some of the airtcle which says that if your occupation is not listed in 38 occupation because of the new changes, you do not have any chance of getting a PR without Arrange Employement.
Eventhough your appplication might score the required 67 points.

I have applied for Canadian Immigration in March´08.
I am a school teacher with over 20 years of experience in Social Sciences.
I just want somebody of you to please tell me whether I am in 38 NOC list or not..
Because specifically, I didn´t find any category there for school teachers though there is a category for college teachers and vocational teachers.

Thanks.
