Subject: Being sponsor for a second time !
  Dear all,

I had an interview along with my husband where the officer made him 15 min question and then turn to me very agressive about my previous weeding. Unfortunately I had sponsored my ex-husband and the law back then demanded that he had to leave the country, in which he did for 1 year. We´ve separated right after he got back here for several reasons and we have to hurt feelings or unresolved matters between each other. I fall in love again (natural as human being) and 1.5 year later after my final divorce (or 2.5 after separation) I got re-married and sponsored my new husband. The officer start judging me as if I had intentionally made all this. He told me that he has no questions about my current weeding but is not sure about my previous weeding. Am I suppose to hate my first husband because things didn´t go as we thought could be? anyway they will decide on my new wedding situation, not sure if will approve or refuse. I´m a canadian citizen and what are the implications on this? also, can I sue the officer for treating as if I was in a criminal court? because that´s how I feel.
Joanne.

Well from the info and the pace of divorce, it indeed appears you have served as a transporter for some guy; I am kinda sure this one will go down the drain and you will end up turning into a serial sponsor. You need to figure out your own self before you keep dragging the dregs from all over the world into Canada.

Well one can assume anything but the onus is on you to prove your in a real relationship.

Stop blaming others for being suspicious based partly on the time line of the relationships.

Your posting here leaves much to be interpreted.

Your ex-husband had to leave the country for one year????? So CIC did not believe that relationship and your ex-husband was excluded for???

Your new husband was sponsored inside or outside of Canada???

IF YOU LIED you can have your citizenship taken from you.

Thanks for everyone inputs. I thought I could get some serious and legal advise instead of the hammer on my head. But for every mistake we make in life there is a great opportunity to grow, learn and help others in future. What I got from all of this is that instead of paying an immigration counselour (cdn 2,000) to guide me and represent on this matter, I should have paid a lawyer (cdn 5,000) who would have the experience and point out (what you gentlemen´s had point out above). A person who does things intentionally would be far away smarter than you thought I´m being. I don´t think anyone would sponsor a husband and spend more than cdn 20,000.00 in a wedding cerimony.
Anyway, thanks for your time and reponses.

I was quoted in the Globe and Mail that it is easier to fake a marriage if you have money then to prove a real marriage if your short of funds. Oh how true

I won an appeal this week by convincing the Ministers Representative that if the marriage in question was bogus due to their education levels they would have done a much better job faking the details.

Lawyers and ethnics can charge more then the average Consultant but shop around get references and hire someone with experience in your area of concern for the average fee. That being around $2,000.00

It does not matter if the person is a Lawyer or a Consultant or a Relative it matters about the details. Some people have common sense and others do not. Simple things like not knowing a detail that is very logical to be known is the reason for a failure.

Hiring a Lawyer for $5,000.00 who assigns the work to a brand new staff teenager/member who just out of school will fail just as quickly.

As I said above and previously the ONUS is on the two of you to prove your relationship. Any quality representative will stop you from sticking your foot in your mouth and will assist you in getting the right stuff together to prove beyond a doubt that your in a real relationship.
