Shockingly, this looks like the infamous Balwant who roamed here for a while, and caused quite a bit of division, controversy, and sometimes entertaining excitement here. As usual, he´s always got an excuse as to why things aren´t they way they appear, usually due to a complex conspiracy of some sort. But as always, innocent until proven guilty I say, with no conviction yet.

I almost totaled the car today going to an appeal when I got the e-mail Richard. It is really unusual because he reported another Member when they had no permit to work in Guyana and now....what goes around comes around.
Where is Sharon?????

You have to understand politics in Guyana. Balwant Persaud has won several refugee cases and the Govt. states publicily that he is an embarassment to Guyana. He is alo an anti-Govt. activist. Read the Kaieteur News, Saturday 14th February, the Freddie Kissoon column and you will see how the police and State operate in Guyana.
Balwant Persaud was never involved in any fraud, it was Alim Samad who quoted those high fees and defrauded the people and the police is now working together with Alim Samad. They will fail and the corruption will be exposed.
Ladies and Gentlemen do not try the guy. Let the Court system decides that because the court system is still fairly fair in Guyana but not the police.
It is a case of the Innocent paying for the Guilty.
